The war in Iraq seems to be no end to the daily routine for the soldiers of the Western alliance still holds the permanent Risk of the country at the end of the day to leave the body bag. Particularly risky are living the elite of a U.S. bomb disposal experts. Sergeant JT Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Specialist Owen Eldridge (Brian Geraghty) try the best of their dangerous job to do and to minimize the risks - if this is even possible. When her supervisor Matt Thompson (Guy Pearce) blown up at a defusing is used in the air, with Staff Sergeant William James (Jeremy Renner) quickly prepared a successor. The Adrenaline Junkie is indeed an absolute ace in his career, but not a team player, James not only endangers himself but also its unity.
